Home Castle I wrote you saying I had another little boy & had made yourself & dear wife sponsors for him. As your dear boy asked me to name one after him I did so. His name is Earnest William Walter. He was twelve months on the first of Feby last. He is the largest child I have had yet & is quite a man, chatting nicely now. He is so fond of his Father that Joe must take him as soon as he enters the house. How are all your dear little ones & how I wish you could manage to bring yours to see us. How nice it would be for them to meet? I suppose Mama has told you I am expecting another next month. I do pray if it is our Father's holy will this may be my last for although they are sweet little things the times are too hard to have so many claims on one who has slender means. I wish I could get something better for my dear
Husband to do, for the man he has to deal with is so mean to him here
& yet he will not increase the pay & he can well afford it. We all
join in fondest & best love & kisses to you & all the dear ones with
you. Ever believe me my own dear Brother
