Frances Eliza HAUGHTON (April 02, 1843 - 1918) Read Fanny's letters to Philip Fanny HAUGHTON married Edmund Shedden SANGUINETTI before 1865 in Jamaica. They also lived in Dominica and St. Vincent. The Jamaica Gleaner for June 20, 1868: Birth - At Dominica, on the 1st instant, the wife of E. S. Sanguinetti, Esq., of a daughter. (This is Bertha E. SANGUINETTI.) In 1881, Fanny and her four children (Edmund H., Charles S., Bertha E., and William R. SANGUINETTI), were enumerated in the Scotland Census in Renfrewshire, Greenock with the family of John and Annie SCOTT. Annie SCOTT was born Annie SPALDING in Jamaica. She was the daughter of Fanny's aunt Frances Ann (SWIRE) SPALDING, and therefore Fanny's cousin. They were likely only visiting since Fanny's husband would have been back in Jamaica at that time.
